On a sunny summer morning, just before the typhoon arrived,  alumni-cum-curator Dr. Michelle Wun Ting Wong walked us through her latest exhibition “Reframing Strangeness: Ha Bik Chuen’s Motherboards and Collagraphs” at Para Site. Developed from a chapter of her doctoral thesis on the life and work of a Hong Kong artist Ha Bik Chuen, this exhibition refocuses on Ha’s printmaking practice through a beautifully orchestrated display of tangible objects. Dr. Wong shared with us how the vision of this exhibition was realized over the course of 2 years. It was an ideal learning opportunity for those who were not just curious about Ha Bik Chuen, but were also keen to know more about the curatorial aspect of the show.
