This workshop on Van Gogh's painting technique is inspired by the current exhibition at Hong Kong Palace Museum, "Botticelli to Van Gogh: Masterpieces from the National Gallery, London" in which his other work Long Grass with Butterflies (1890) is featured. She magically transformed a nighttime scene of our city into a watercolour painting right in front of our eyes. She taught the group her watercolour techniques, to mix, layer and apply paint to create different effects and textures. Participants learnt step by step and completed their own piece to take home.
