In the 4 hours workshop, participants will learn about thangka history, and experience traditional thangka painting. The hand-made canvas used in the workshop is made according to traditional techniques. It takes two days from sewing thread to brushing and polishing. What's more, the natural minerals and plant pigments are all hand-grinded. It includes coral, pearl, malachite, lapis lazuli, azurite, orpiment, realgar, cinnabar, mica, cyan, saffron, indigo, and etc. Let go of the daily worries and enjoy the moment of painting!
